It’s time to put away that big and fluffy winter jacket and switch it for this year’s spring fashion.

The top ten spring colors for 2016 are buttercup, fiesta, green flash, iced coffee, lilac grey, limpet shell, peach echo, rose quartz, serenity and snorkel blue. These colors aren’t too bright and are just perfect for your spring closet. This year, the top shades are all pink. 

The recent 70s trend brought with it an affinity for the ultra high- rise. The low rise trousers – with a 90s Aaliyah feel.

“ I love how the 70s style is making a comeback and I always look forward to seeing what is coming out this spring,” said Nicole Wilkins, senior.  

The cold shoulder is any other style this spring and it been in spring style for a while now. Raffia is a style that most people would see them wearing but it’s a big thing. The raffia look had been becoming more and more popular. Most people feel it is a hippie look and can’t see them wearing it. However, the fashion world has turned that hippie look into very fashionable clothes.

The all around trend for this year’s spring collection is some 70s and 90s looks are making a comeback. “I’m excited to see what comes out this spring, I love the 70s and 90s style, and I’m excited to see how they add that to the spring collection this year.” Alex Colonna, junior.
