Big Ang Dies From Battle With Cancer

Many celebrities have died from the battle of cancer. “Big Ang” from Mob Wives is one of those people who have lost their battles. She died yesterday at 3:01 am at the age of 55. She fought a long battle with cancer and passed peacefully with her loved ones by her side. Last year, she discovered that she had throat cancer and underwent a whole bunch of treatments. After, she thought she was okay and cancer-free. Soon after, she found out that she was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer as well.

Big Ang has a big fanbase, mainly because of the show she starred in, Mob Wives. She was the niece of Salvatore Lombardi, who is also on the show.

“I am saddened to say that at 3:01 a.m., Ange lost her battle with cancer,” said Jennifer Graziano, creator and executive producer of Mob Wives.

This was somewhat a weirdly timed event for she was reported dead the day before she was truly was dead. It spread across social media and many fans began believing that the death statement was true. It wasn’t until Big Ang really died that fans realized their loss.

“I haven’t watched the show or known Big Ange, but it’s always hard to hear about someone that loses their battle with cancer, no matter who they are,” said Megan Bissonnette, senior.

Fortunately, Raiola’s family has raised more than $45,000 from their Go Fund Me page to help pay for her medical bills. This will save the family from being more in debt.
