As 2024 comes to an end there were many amazing concerts with many amazing artists throughout the year. Claudia Gail has been to a few concerts this year but her favorite was definitely Travis Scott. She loves his music and the performance was insane. The pyrotechnics, the set, and all the guest artists helped it become one of the best concerts she has ever been to. Many people agree that it was an amazing concert. Senior Gianna Franco says “I thought it was great there were fireworks and carnival rides. I thought it was fun.” 

Rap concerts seemed to be very popular this year. They are all different in their own way but all amazing. Senior Ryan Westerburg says “I went to A Boogie. I went to Nicki Minaj. I went to Travis Scott, Pink, and Drake. Drake is one of my favorites and it was entertaining but all of the concerts were entertaining in their own way. I can’t pick a favorite.” It seems like she went to a lot of concerts this year. Even though most of the students we interviewed saw multiple concerts this year, many wanted to see more. Senior Jad Sadd states “I wish I went to Drake, Travis Scott, and Don Toliver this year.” 

While rap seemed like a big hit country was also very popular this year. Senior Addie Ickowski said “I saw Zach Bryan and Luck Combs this year. I was supposed to see Morgan Wallen but I didn’t.” While most people we talked to loved the concerts they attended, some had other opinions.

We interviewed senior Bella Casasanta who had some negative opinions about her concert experience. She said  “I went to Sza. I hated it she was so bad and I don’t know I just didn’t like her. Her sound was off, her speakers didn’t match up with her mic, she didn’t perform it as well as I thought she would. The dancing was terrible.” Clearly, she didn’t have a good time.

Even with all of these concert experiences, the good and the bad, there were lots of memories made in 2024 that people will remember forever.
