Nowadays when you drive around, it is not uncommon to drive past these huge alien spaceship-looking trucks. So the real question is, are Cybertrucks really all that? There are many controversial opinions about this truck created by Tesla.

Tesla launched the Cybertruck in November 2023. There weren’t many people driving these cars, but in 2024 you’re more likely to see a Cybertruck on the road when you’re going to work or school. There are two different models of Cybertrucks. The first model, which is the all wheel drive ranges at a total cost of $82,235. The second model is called the Cyberbeast and costs a total of $102,235.

There are people that think Cybertrucks are not in fashion of an original car, and should not be driven around.

“I think there are better cars. They are very ugly. I mean, it looks like you’re driving a fridge,” said freshman Teagan Galardi 

Cortnie Smalls, who is a freshman at Wayne Hills High School, also said that “Cybertrucks are ugly as crap. No one should be driving that travesty”.

Although it may only seem that the opinions of Cybertrucks  are negative ones, some people actually prefer these trucks as a way of adjusting to our future.

Freshman Lori Laborda commented, “I actually think they are very cool. I think a lot of people think that they are ugly, but eventually, it’s what all cars are going to look like so we should get used to it.”

In conclusion, there are people that are willing to drive these trucks around. But a concern that many have is if the Cybertrucks will eventually be driven everywhere and will be the new car. Would you drive a Cybertruck?
