As school rolls around, the freshmen are adjusting to Wayne Hills. The transition from eighth to ninth grade is definitely a drastic change. High school comes with many fun activities like meeting new people, trying out for sports, and a fresh start is always great. After asking a couple of freshmen what they are looking forward to for this school year, we got a couple different answers.  

Freshman Gianna Gurrieri said, “I’m excited hanging out with my friends, playing volleyball, and going to football games.” Gianna is thrilled to spend time with her friends and play a sport that she loves.

Kevin Saliba said, “I’m excited for the soccer season to start so I can hang out with my friends.”

Lots of freshmen can’t wait to start their sports, go to football games, learn new things in class, and meet new people. 

Ritika Sharma states, “I’m excited to see my friends and meet new ones. And I’m also can’t wait to learn new things in class.”

The freshmen are settling in and excited for the new year.
