As polls close on November 7th, results are in and Jonathan Ettman was just re-elected for council member for Sixth Ward.
53-year-old Jonathan Ettman won over Peter Rosky with 1,156 votes, helping Mr.Ettman reclaim his spot as a town council member. Ettman was previously a councilman for Wayne’s 6th Ward for two terms, making him well-known in the community. With his Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and subsequently graduated cum laude from New York Law School, Ettman’s experience is able to offer evaluate risks, offer advice and make well-reasoned decisions.
With the major issues in Wayne including businesses, making things affordable, and redevelopment Ettman has reported to Patch.com, “My main priority is always, first and foremost, to take care of and advocate for the residents of the 6th Ward. I am here to help. In addition, my focus will be on dealing with the next round of affordable housing, developing a new master plan and reducing property taxes, which has happened before while I have been on the council.”
There are many other pressing issues council members will have to face in Wayne. When Wayne Hills secretary Mrs.Heske was asked about what has to be improved in Wayne, she said, “I think we should have more opportunities and activities for the special needs community, including young adults 21 and older”
