As the poll topic on the Patriot Press website we asked who the WHHS body thought would make Super Bowl 50 (not Roman Numerals in fear that it would become Super Bowl L(oser)) and those who voted got it right. Out of the 44 students who voted the majority was correct on who would continue their seasons, the Panthers and Greg Olsen received 14 votes, the Broncos and Peyton Manning ended with 13 votes, while the Patriots and Cardinals finished with nine and eight votes. Junior, Marco Caprioni said,”I was surprised and impressed that the students and faculty who voted went against the favored Patriots.“ This Super Bowl will certainly be one to watch as hometown hero Greg Olsen will be playing for the nearly undefeated Panthers. Marco also stated,”personally i’m split on who to root for as i want Peyton (Manning) and Greg Olsen to do well, however i know that only one of the two can win.” This will certainly be a Super Bowl for the ages as it may very likely be the last time we see Peyton Manning in a Super Bowl, and also see the WHHS legend Greg Olsen compete on this stage against one another.
