Wayne Hills Hockey: Boys Varsity Update
February 3, 2016
The Wayne Hills Patriots Boys Varsity ice hockey team is currently 7-6-4 overall. The Patriots are ranked fifth amongst nine other teams in their conference. Hills is currently at a .500 percentile with a 4-4-4 record in their division.
The Patriots most recent game was against Ramsey. Ramsey, being the defending county and state champions, were there in terms of keeping their dominance. Wayne Hills ended up suffering a tough loss with a final score of 7-0. Both players from Ramsey, Kyle DeBel and Garrett Mast each earned a pair of goals. For Hills, unfortunately, nobody had scored. But our Senior Goalie Andrew Mordkoff had quite a few saves ending the night with just over thirty saves!
Hopefully, the Patriots can get their heads back on straight and their focus intact. “Losing is all a part of the game, if you can’t handle it, then you can’t play the game,” said senior Chad Michel.
