Boys Volleyball Looks to Start their Season Strong

With a strong group returning players, the Boys Patriots Volleyball season kicks off Monday, April 4th at home against Fair Lawn. The Patriots are coming off a very successful season where they went 13-8, losing in the County Finals and the State Quarterfinals. Their first game will be a strong test after losing to Fair Lawn twice last season.

Led by returning seniors Camilo Sanchez, Ryan Song, and Zach Muller, the Patriots are hoping to follow up last year’s success with another productive season. Coach Bill Eustice is back for yet another season and is looking to continue his success. This core of returners is very optimistic about the upcoming season and have a lot of positive things to say about the upcoming year.

When asked about his thoughts on the upcoming season, Camilo Sanchez said, “I have high hopes for this season. I think that everyone on the team has great chemistry and we will be able to work well together. I am excited to work with Coach Eustice this year and sharpen up my skills.”

Similarly, Zach Muller who is coming off a season with 87 kills and 19 blocks said, “I’m really excited for this upcoming season. I believe that we have a squad that can go out and win it all. The coaching staff is amazing and I cam’t wait to play under them.”

With the first game just three days away, the team is looking forward to getting the season underway. With high expectations, it will be exciting to see what the future holds for this talented group of boys. They play West Milford April 13th and May 9th, and Don Bosco Prep April 29th.
