Leaving the whole island filled with lava that has destroyed everything in its path.

La Palma is now under a dangerous zone due to the volcano aftermath. More than 5,000 residents have fled after the alarming volcano eruption that has left them with no hope of seeing their homes ever again.

Through the days the volcano has increased in lava, spreading throughout the village of Spain. Recent update has stated that the lava has reached the Atlantic ocean. Many are in fear of the lava that has reached the ocean. As the lava can cause dangerous explosions and toxic gases. While this is terrifying many have stated their concerns to this. “When the lava reaches the sea, the lock down must be strictly observed,” as stated reuters.com

Many in Spain have shown their feelings to this terrifying volcano. Ktla.com has stated “Suddenly, you have had almost everything taken from you, in one fell swoop. No home, no equipment, no clothes, no food, no resources, no work,” This volcano has affected many of its citizens leaving with nothing after fleeing the country.

A senior at PCTI, Saul Godines stated ” I guess this is a natural disaster that cant be avoided no matter how far our technology has come. People were forced to come out of their homes while some were informed to stay home to avoid inhaling dangerous oxygen. These type of things are scary especially when they come unexpectedly. So all I can say is that I hope the families in Spain are safe and that no one gets hurts from it. Hopefully doesn’t affect them more”

Scientists have been monitoring the volcano and its activities. Throughout these events, many have fear of what the volcano might cause in the near future. There isn’t a solution to this but more as hoping it would stop.
