Announcing Patriot Press’s Collaboration with Tapintowayne.net

The Patriot Press will be collaborating with news site TapIntowayne.net, which focuses on local Wayne news. This site is part of a much bigger franchise called TAPinto.

Editor of Tapintowayne Jon “Ferris” Meredith has reached out to the Patriot Press. Some of Patriot Press’s articles will be published on the Tapintowayne site with our own section.

“This collaboration is to provide Patriot Press writers with a greater writer audience,” stated Meredith.

“Writing skills are huge,” said Meredith.” It’s much more difficult to write well and communicate well than people think,” he adds.

The site TAPinto has 80 franchised sites that focus on local towns of many different states including New Jersey and New York, Florida, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. The franchise has over 10,000,000 readers.

TAPinto was created in 2008 by Michael and Lauryn Shapiro. Tapintowayne was started in the summer of 2019 by Meredith. It came as a shock to learn that Meredith was not a journalist, but wanted to make this site because of the importance of having hyperlocal journalism.

Right now Tapintowayne has 21 sections that readers can enjoy including the Patriot Press section. Tapintowayne gives readers various topics to read about such as food & drinks, education, and entertainment, business. The website also has COVID-19 updates.

“I feel like this is what the Patriot Press needed, and I am very excited to be exposed to a larger circulation,” states Yulieanna Sim, Fashion and Entertainment Editor of the Patriot Press.
