everything you need to know about NHS

National Honors Society is for the students that have over a 3.5 GPA and have been involved in a lot of community service. NHS credits those who have good grades. To get in, a letter is sent out to the students who have that GPA or over and are asked to apply but it’s not that easy. You also need to fulfil the 4 pillars which are, service, character, leadership and scholarship to get accepted into the society. This society is a really good way for students to get involved with the community and help out those who aren’t that fortunate and those that have nothing.

“Getting into NHS has always been a goal of mine and now that I’m in it I can’t wait to get involved and participate in service activities,” said senior Cailey Blazier.

“NHS is a great way for students to give back to the community and have fun doing it,”  said advisor Andrew Poalillo.
