Girls Soccer Coach Gets 100th Career Win

The Wayne Hills Girls Soccer coach got his 100th career win this past Tuesday against Kennedy High School. Coach Rehberger has been coaching the girl’s soccer team for a total of 9 seasons. He has produced an average of 12 wins a season and has been a great coach for the girl’s soccer team. The girl’s soccer team beat Kennedy by a score of 7-0. Brooke Alexander led the team with 2 goals in the victory. Mia Lombardi led the team in assists with 3. The girls are    4-2 on the season with their only losses coming to Wayne Valley and Ramapo High school.

The girls have a high power scoring attack on offense. They have a total of 30 goals on the season to go with a sold 19 assists. Joelle Ricci, the goalkeeper, has 19 saves on the season as well. She is a dominant force at goalkeeper and expect every shot taken on her to be a save. Senior forward, Brooke Alexander, is having an excellent season as she has 4 goals on the year to go along with 2 assists. Mia Lombardi is also having a great sophomore campaign as well, as she has 3 goals and 3 assists. She will be looking to lead Wayne Hills for years to come. Amanda Adamo is also having a strong season as she is one of the team leaders and has 2 goals and 1 assist on the year as well.

“Rehberger’s 100 career wins is an awesome accomplishment! Our team is extremely lucky to have a great and experienced coach leading us to more victories,” said Amanda Adamo who is one of the 4 leaders for girls soccer.

The girls will look to bounce back against Indian Hills and continue to increase coach Rehberger’s career win total. The girls will look to win counties and get revenge on Wayne Valley.
