Ever since the Eagles loss to the Saints last Sunday, they now face tougher problems. The Eagles have been one of the greatest underdog teams in the league and now face offseason difficulties. They have acquired some quarterback problems on who to go with for next season, Carson Wentz or Nick Foles.

Carson Wentz has been one of the best quarterbacks the Eagles ever had. Two seasons ago, the quarterback was leading them to an undefeated season until he got injured. Ever since then, Nick Foles played for him in the playoffs and it was incredible. Nick Foles went on with the Eagles to win the Super Bowl while Carson was on the bench cheering them on. This season, Carson started again after recovering only finding himself to get injured once more. Nick Foles then played until they lost in the second round in the playoffs. This sparks some problems for Philly as they choose on who to keep and who to let go.

“The starter thing, leading a team, impacting a locker room, that’s why we play the game,” Foles said Monday. “Everything is open. I love this city. I love this locker room. It’s special. We’ll see.”

“Having the option to be a free agent is extremely important,” he said. “Technically, I’m really not under contract right now and that’s something we’ll discuss in the future. It’s a unique situation, it’s a good situation for this team to have. … I have a great relationship with this team and that’s genuine. Ultimately, we’ll make the best decision for both sides and it’ll work out.”

Even though Foles has a great relationship with the team and organization, Coach Doug Pederson says that Wentz will always be the starter once he’s up and healthy. Fans and social media created debates on who’s the better quarterback for the Eagles and who is the true miracle of Philly. However, Wentz has not been able to play well due to many frustrations with his injuries.

“It’s super frustrating,” Wentz said about his injuries. “I still have zero games of postseason football under my belt. I realize I have a lot to prove in that regard. I’m confident I will get the chance to do that.”

In the end of all, the Eagles have to face some decisions by mid-February on either to keep Foles or let him go.

“Honestly, Nick Foles can take his talents somewhere else. Carson Wentz will forever be the miracle that Philly will ever need in the upcoming years,” said Billy Busacca.

The Eagles will have a challenge in the offseason, who will they keep and who will they let go? Is Nick Foles the miracle Philly needs or is Carson Wentz the answer?
