Rocktoberfest, the annual school talent show hosted by FBLA, is taking place this Thursday night, October 25,  in the auditorium at 6 pm and allows students to show off their hidden talents.

The talent show includes various acts like singing and dancing and was open for all students to participate but is an enjoyable time to watch intriguing acts with your friends.

Patricia Noll, the advisor of FBLA, raves about this year’s talent, noting, “this year, we have a staff band, a lot of guitar players rocking out, singers, and culturally, it’s nice to see that we have a girl who does Bollywood dancing and one or two students that will be singing in a different language.”

The talent show has been going on for over 20 years now, marking 20 years of amusing and culturally different acts. The shows consists of 15 performers and even some teachers as well.  The tickets are $5 in lunch or at the ticket booth with Teacher ID or $7 at the door. All profits of the show go to FBLA to help defer the costs their state and national competition trips.

One of the many talented Rocktoberfest performers, Sophomore Jake Higuera, says, “I am playing the guitar. I’m playing the song “Can’t Stop” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.”

An officer of FBLA, Sophomore Skyler Sieradzky encourages “people to come because it is a great way to get out and be with your friends and have some fun.”
