Toys “R” Us Closing For Good

Toys “R” Us’ bankruptcy Lawyer has announced that over 700 stores across the U.S. will be liquidated. That means that the vast majority of America’s favorite toy store shall meet its demise. It has been reported previously that the company was filing for bankruptcy.

However, at the time the community was unsure if it meant Toys “R” Us was meeting its fate or not. Wayne Hills physical education teacher, Michael Peischl said “It’s been a long time coming. They have been going bankrupt for years! They got killed by Amazon.”

Now that so many stores are closing, the real question being asked is “What new toy store will be replacing Toys “R” Us?” This is a chance for a new company to rise and replace Toys “R” Us’ huge control of the toy market. “I think it’s horrible for the community, for it’s customers, and it shines the light on e-commerce vs. brick-and-mortar stores.” said Wayne Hills business teacher Stephen Hill.

Wayne Hills Senior Chris Colella said, “It’s sad to see that they are closing after all these years. I had so many memories in that store as a child. I’ll miss my local store.” We wish good luck to all the individuals losing their jobs. We want to wish them good luck in their future.
