15 Colleges Come To Wayne Hills for Instant Decision Day
December 9, 2017
On December 1, 15 colleges met with 43 students at Wayne Hills for Instant Decision Day. On Instant Decision Day, seniors can have an interview with a school they have applied to and find out if that school will admit them. Many students like Instant Decision Day because it shortens a lengthy (and often stressful) process.
Colleges present included Montclair State, Rutgers, Quinnipiac, and Monmouth.
Students sign up for instant decision by applying early and submitting scores and transcript forms to their school (or schools) of choice by Nov. 17. Additionally, they are required to fill out a google form by Nov. 20.
Most of the students who attended were pleased with the outcome. For example, Isabella Czekaj, a senior, says, “I was very nervous to find out if I got in or not. However, when I got there it was a comfortable environment; I got into all the schools I applied to- Monmouth, Rowan, and Quinnipiac University. I am very happy.”
A total of 72 acceptances were handed out on Instant Decision Day.
