The final chapter of The Hunger Games will leave fans in tears of joy and sadness. The franchise is coming to an inevitable sad end. In this final chapter, Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) is determined to use the power of the rebellion to overthrow President Snow (played by Donald Sutherland) and get her one true love, Peeta (played by Josh Hutcherson), back and safe with her.

Director Francis Lawrence was utterly determined to take the novel written by, Suzanne Collins, and make it into a film that would be unforgettable. This is sure to be a success.

“I think I’m more excited for Mockingjay Part Two because it’s been a full year since part one. Although,  I know I’m going to be sad when it’s over because there’s nothing to come after it, but hopefully they interpret the book well in the movie,” says Sam Maron, sophomore.

The movie premiered last week and will be the end of a bloody era for those who go watch it.
